Welcome to the Kathy Wilton for State Representative site and thank you for your interest in my campaign. The next several months should prove to be exciting and interesting. I plan to run an aggressive effort and would be proud to serve as the State Representative of the 97th District. I hope you’ll join me.

As a Gladwin County Commissioner, I spent many years serving the needs and interests of the wonderful people in this community. As a volunteer I have worked to keep our neighborhoods safe as secretary of the Gladwin County Crime Stopper program, to meet the needs of those in difficult times while serving on the Mid Michigan Community Action Agency board, and have supported progressive environmental efforts in my work for White’s Recycling Center.

During these difficult economic times, I would be honored to continue my efforts to improve the lives of the citizens of Michigan’s 97th House District. I look forward to working on your behalf in Lansing on issues that are important to you.
